About J&B O'Brien

Formed in 1973 by Directors John & Beryl O’Brien, the early years consisted mainly of Housing Association refurbishment work. In 1983, sons Mike & Steve embarked on a career in the family run business, enrolling at NESCOT to study Carpentry & Joinery and Brickwork respectively.

Steve was to become the 3rd generation of Bricklayers, following John and both Grandads. Following John’s retirement in 1998, Mike and Steve took over the Company.

The Company carried on the Refurbishment work, but steadily changed to Extensions, Local Authority School work , and small new Build projects and have built up a wealth of valuable skills and experience.
